sockets technology, which means data is encrypted between WHIN and the end
user. This assures WHIN users that information is traveling in a secure
environment. In addition, each subscriber has a unique user ID and password. An
audit trail tracks users who are accessing patient information.
For
services where we partner with information providers, WHIN delivers security
that is consistent with its partners' internal policies regarding
confidentiality of patient information.
